Build the layer
AI actually reads

The agentic web is the machine-facing layer of your website — your business as structured data that AI assistants and agentic browsers can read, cite and act on.

Why the agentic web matters now

Agents are becoming the first reader of your website

The way people find and evaluate B2B vendors is changing faster than most companies realise. An assistant reads a handful of sources and writes one answer — and there is no page two to be found on.

Google’s share of search fell to 75.5%

In five years roughly a fifth of the query market moved to assistants that answer instead of linking. The demand didn’t go away — the interface did.

Statcounter, 2020 vs 2026

53% of web traffic is no longer human

The majority audience for most websites is now software, and it has been reading pages designed for eyes — losing whatever the layout hides.

Imperva Bad Bot Report, 2026

Lighthouse’s 5th category scores it already

Lighthouse added agentic browsing as a fifth category, audited on every PageSpeed Insights run — including one check that does not run at all without an llms.txt.

Almost 0 competitors have this layer

Almost no competitor in industrial B2B has a machine-readable layer today. The companies that build one now become the source models learn to trust and quote.

Where the agents already are

The browser itself
is now an agent

The shift is not only crawlers. Every major browser now ships a mode where the software reads the page, decides what matters and reports back — the person may never see your layout at all.

Google
Gemini in Chrome

Reads the page you are on, answers questions about it and navigates across tabs on the user’s behalf.

OpenAI
ChatGPT Atlas

A browser built around the assistant, with an agent mode that completes multi-step tasks on live sites.

Perplexity
Comet

Assistant-first browsing: it compares sources across open tabs and hands back a shortlist, not a page.

Microsoft
Edge Copilot Mode

Copilot reads what is open, summarises it and can act on it — inside the browser most enterprises already deploy.

In all four, the layout is optional. What the agent manages to retrieve is your brand — and Chrome now audits how well it can do that.

One brand, two websites

You don’t rebuild.
You add a layer.

A website is built for humans: JavaScript, media and layers of markup. Agents want the same information as clean, structured data. So we add it — on your domain, alongside what you already have.

What we deliver

What an agentic web
layer includes

Six components. One coherent layer. Everything an AI agent needs to find your business, read it correctly and call it directly.

/agent
Agent page

A machine-readable page with structured data formatted for agent discovery and citation.

/llms.txt
llms.txt

The index agents look for first — what your site contains and where the canonical answers live.

schema.org
Structured data

Organisation, service, product and FAQ markup across the site, so facts are unambiguous.

/.well-known
API catalogue

A public catalogue so agent orchestration systems can discover and interact programmatically.

/api/v1
Public REST API

A lightweight, read-only API exposing your key data — always accurate, always structured.

/mcp
MCP server

So Claude, ChatGPT and any MCP-capable agent can call your data directly as a tool.

How we deliver

Four steps,
about three weeks

Your team gives us access and answers. We do the rest and hand back a verified layer.

Step 1
Audit
+

We run your site through the agentic browsing audit, check what agents can actually retrieve, and map which business facts are unreadable or wrong in AI answers.

Step 2
Build
+

We build the six components against your real content and data sources — agent page, llms.txt, structured data, API catalogue, REST API and MCP server.

Step 3
Deploy
+

Everything ships on your own domain, with crawler and agent permissions set deliberately in robots.txt and ai.txt. Nothing is hosted somewhere else.

Step 4
Verify & keep in sync
+

We re-run the audit and score how leading models describe you. Then monthly: your site changes, new agents arrive and the specs move — the layer is updated to match.

How we measure it

Measured three ways.
Not just claimed.

Most agent-readiness claims stop at “we added an llms.txt”. We prove the layer works with three independent checks, run before and after every build.

01 · Google PageSpeed Insights
Agentic Browsing

Can an AI agent reliably understand and navigate your normal website? Agentic Browsing is one of the five categories in a PageSpeed Insights report, and it scores three checks:

  • Accessibility tree is well-formed
  • Cumulative Layout Shift
  • llms.txt follows recommendations

Reported as a score out of 3.

02 · Five AI platforms
Independent LLM audits

We give Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok and Perplexity one prompt and no other context: “Go to yourdomain.com and tell me if the website is LLM/AI/Agent friendly.” Each answer is the platform’s own assessment of which parts of the layer it can find and use: llms.txt, the /agent page, ai.txt, robots.txt, OpenAPI, the public REST API and the MCP server.

Reported as each platform’s verdict, plus the components it confirmed.

03 · Live MCP test
An agent takes action

Reading is only half the job. We ask a real AI agent to act for a user through the MCP server and send an enquiry or a quote request, only after the user gives explicit consent. Then we confirm it landed in your normal systems, such as e-commerce orders or the contact form database, ready for sales.

Reported as leads delivered, end to end.

What you get out of it

Why B2B companies
build this now

✓
Cited, not just crawled

Your facts appear in AI answers as your own, sourced from your domain.

✓
One source of truth

Pricing, products and positioning stop being guessed at from stale copies.

✓
Measured, not asserted

Scored by Google’s own audit and by what the models actually say.

✓
Early enough to matter

Almost no competitor in industrial B2B has this layer today.

    Common questions

    Answers before you ask

The agentic web is the machine-facing layer of a website. It presents the same business information as structured, readable data so AI assistants and agentic browsers can retrieve it, cite it and act on it without parsing a page built for human eyes.

SEO and GEO influence whether you are found and recommended. The agentic web decides what an agent can actually read and do once it arrives. They are complementary: visibility brings the agent, the agentic layer serves it.

No. The agentic layer is added alongside your existing site. Your human website stays exactly as it is; we build a parallel machine-readable layer on the same domain.

A standard build runs about three weeks from audit to verified deployment. Larger sites with multiple markets or product catalogues take longer, mostly in data mapping.

Your website keeps changing, new crawlers and browser agents keep arriving, and the specifications themselves are still moving. Without upkeep the layer drifts out of sync and agents answer from stale data.

Four measures: the Lighthouse agentic browsing category, how well leading models describe your business when asked, agent and crawler traffic in your logs, and citation appearances in AI answers.
